“Hello Houston. This is Odyssey. Good to see you again.”

This was the moment in pop culture that changed my life. I was 11 years old when I watched Apollo 13 for the first time.

Can you name anything else in history where you just look up at the sky and it sparks immediate wonder?

That wonder makes me want to know more so that I can do more for those around me.

Fast forward to high school, and I landed a job at the Air and Space Museum. This allowed me to surround myself with historic spacecraft. Since then, I

have been fortunate to support a number of aerospace firms to develop complex products. My aspirations did not end there. I am currently striving to do what I can to achieve my boyish dreams of becoming an astronaut.

Discovery to me does not mean just the stars. Traveling is another passion of mine, with the goal of seeing all seven continents. Each country brings it an opportunity to hear and see unique perspectives of locals, all of which has shaped who I am.
